An enormous WELL DONE to the mighty Blues. Lets hope that this is the first of many wins. Parading of the cup is 23rd May. Lets keep this topic on City as there is one already running for the other lot ;-)

Oscar - Saudis?

On a serious note, City and Liverpool made for a fantastic season and raised the bar yet again for any other team. The challenge now to match this is something to relish but my beloved United are in trouble and need to smarten up quickly. Great games and well done City.

I think you need a lot more money than the Saudis can get to win the European cup, maybe try looking on the fields of Salford for some propper tallent if you are at all serious about it.

What a season it's been again back-to-back Champions, domestic treble!  Roll on next season, might be the Champions League next (booo)!

Yes Bob.  When I'm telling my grandchildren about the Centurions, I'll try to remember that fact.

Yet United won more prize money from the Premier League.

Just saying.

What a season it's been for the Champions and Premier League history makers!  Most points in a season, 100 points.  Highest winning margin, 19 points.  Most goals in a season,106.  Most wins in a season, 32.  Most consecutive wins,18.  Most away wins, 16.  Best goal difference, 79.  And suberb attacking football to boot.  Roll on next season!

A little deflating the way it happened but congratulations!!! Any team that raises their game to beat City seem to suffer in their next two games as they are knackered!

Well done to the Blues!  Wonderful football and worthy Champions.

I am with you on that Graz, the Gunners did not play well at all. Still, City did and were worthy winners.

Thanks to United for keeping it warm but I think we'll have our League Cup back for another year. Great win but I think Trafford could have beaten Arsenal today.

Big win in Seville last night.  City look like they are getting back into gear now.  Onwards and upwards!

A draw and one point puts City back to the top of the league.  Not the greatest of matches as City never seem to perform well against these lower teams ;-)

Great start by City.  Points clear of their rivals and we are still in August.  Unlike last year, they look focused and hungry.  Happy Days!

Today against Chelsea, what a difference. Controlled game by City and well worthy of the points. Best game of the weekend for me.

Tony Pulis made a strange decision to play two up front but then insisted that one of the two dropped into midfield. WBA had no real possession and their isolated striker couldn't do much. It was a fabulous display of possession football and pass and move by City - Silva is the man to watch this season - no point getting excited after one game though!

Watching City last night, what a boring game WBA offering no resistance. Without Yo Yo Tours second goal there was nothing to shout about.

As a player you cannot fault him but, for that money? The pressure now on him to do wonders could ruin things. I hope that both City and United drop all thoughts of Pogba returning to Manchester, again not worth the money being asked.

Well, Raheem is a blue. No one seems happy with the amount paid especially as the more you pay for English players the less talent you seem to get but let's get behind the rich young man and hope he forms an instant partnership with  Aguero. Some Premiership defenders are losing sleep already!

I've watched City from Chassen Rd to the Etihad and I'm very pleased with the 3rd Championship I can remember.

Divad, I'm not a football follower now, to see the childish attitude of sliding towards the flag post is ridiculous. I used to watch City when we had players like Summerbee, Bell, Young, etc this was about 44 years or so ago.

If city had English players we would not have won the league.

Oscarb, at the kick off there was only one English player. The commentator said so.

Look at it another way, 100+ goals scored in the league, only 1 by an Englishman.

Did you overlook these ? Scott Sinclair, James Milner, Jack Rodwell, Joleon Lescott, Micah Richards

Money does not ask questions about country of origin EricJ. It is a sad reflection on the sport but the way of things. The World Cup this year will show where the English stand in rankings.
