Stray dog found Sunday 15th May in the Granville Road area.  18 month old female tan/white Jack Russell with red collar. We got in touch with the dog warden who picked her up today - not micro chipped so couldn't be re-united with the owner.  Dog will be taken to Manchester Dogs Home later today.

I saw on Twitter that an account called "Love where you live" had found a gold chain / bracelet on Crofts Bank Road on 30th December.  Could that be the one?

Car Key found on Royal Ave Urmston on 31/08/15. The key is on a large washer, with URM on one side of the washer, and a number on the other side. It was found on the drive under a car, so could belong to a delivery/postal type person

Hi I've found some keys on the Curzon roundabout today. Possibly 2 house keys and a car key. They are a bit muddy so not sure how long they've been there.

Hi I had my vehicle broken into on Friday 29 November and my keys were also taken. There were 2 house keys and 1 vehicle key on the key ring amongst other personal items stolen. Wondered if my description match the keys found? Thanks

PipMak. Have you looked down all the side ginnels? Does Mambos have a skip somewhere? It could of been handed in at a charity shop. There's a few very near.

Hi, has anyone come across a silver cross pram chassis in Urmston town centre?? My wife was in a fluster and drove off leaving it at the curb side on Thursday! Thankfully our son wasn't with it ;-), but we are desperate to get it back, and none of the shops, police, council nor supermarkets have had it handed to them. It was left on the pavement directly outside mambo's about 16:00. Thanks in advance.

I lost my little boy's raincoat on Moorside Road (I think) a week or two ago.  I've retraced my steps but it's nowhere to be found.  It's a navy blue Trespass coat, age 3-4 and it's got his name on the label inside.  Would be really grateful if anyone has happened to find it.

Has anyone lost or had a child's pushbike stolen in the Woodsend area of Flixton?
It's probably for a 6-8year old but I'm not an expert. It's a mini BMX or mountain bike and is a dark red/purple colour.

Please click on my user name to contact me if you think the bike could be yours or know the owner. Thanks!

Awwww ta Divad. I always think its best to be honest. I could have easily taken the cash and walked away, but I could never have lived with myself if that had been a pensioners shopping money. Having had my purse stolen in the past (at a sainsburys no less) I know how distressing it is.

Gillykins and Matty, you are both a credit to Urmston. What goes around comes around, you will reap the rewards for your honesty.

Went to the speedbank at sainsburys this evening and found a sum of money in the till. Handed it in at the customer service desk who told me if it hadnt been claimed I would be able to have it in a fortnight. Felt really pleased with myself. Bumped into my workmate a few mins later and told him about my find. The look of realisation when he pulled his wallet out of his pocket in panic was a sight to see and I could not believe it when the money turned out to be his.
Moral of the story - be careful at speedbanks and make sure both money and card are put back in your purses. I may not be getting a bit richer in a fortnight, but I have been told he is buying my brekkie on pay day!!

Found a high value electrical item at Urmston Leisure Centre (underneath a bush on the grass outside).
I have tried to report it at the police station (Urmston closed, and Stretford not answering the phone!), and will hopefully eventually get it to Stretford police station early next week, but if anyone is missing an item, and can identify it, I'd be happy to get it back to them.

I found a Barclay’s debit card on Winchester Road opposite the park at about 4.30pm today. The name on it was A Marsh. Barclays was closed so I put it through their letter box so if anyone knows A. Marsh could they let them know.

Please can everyone be vigilant on the meadows. I have had 2 dog leads stolen. Rather than carry the leads around the meadows I usually leave them in the grass verge. However I have become a victim of crime. The Police have been informed and they have no lead at present (join the club). If you have a conscience please return them no questions asked!

Quick update. . . I'm really impressed. The case and contents have now been reunited with their owner after 30 years! Thanks to Urmston.net and Pris for your help.
