Before she was an actress, Linda was a dancer. My Father used to date her (his only claim to fame).

Which years was Lillian Ridgway at St Clements? I lived down Leagate which is nearly opposite Ashfield Road, the name Lillian Ridgway rings a bell.

Lilian Ridgeway was a friend of my sister, June Pearson. June passed away on 2lst August this year. She often used to talk about Lilian and the tricks they got up to.

Met Linda and John Lee when I stumbled into a Piccadily club/restaurant in the middle of a snow storm. They were entertaining at the Policemen's Ball and took pity on this sopping wet Yank (although it was a closed party). That friendship was occasionally rejuvenated whenever I visited London and she was appearing on the West End. Glad to see her occasionally on the telly here.

Actually she lived in the large house down Stanley Grove, half way along Ashfield Rd. I used to live in an adjacent house in Central Drive and used to play with her Nephew Trevor, same name! I remember being terrified of Nurse Gladys as this was in the late 70's early 80s when Open all hours was first on. Linda was also in the same class as my aunt Marion (Scott)

The children's television show in which Linda flys around the country in a polka-dot plane with her dog, named Pippa, is called "Come Outside".

Hi my auntie (called Brenda) used to go dancing with Linda Barron and used to be good mates at school. My mum (Liz) and her mum (Dot, Ince) used to go around to Linda's house where her dad used to hold spritual meetings. My mum went to that once and Adolf Hitler's face appeared in the meeting does any remember that or ever went to the spritual meetings ?

Not clear form this if Linda Baron was her real name? Or is she really Lillian Ridgeway? Family myth is that she is a relative! Does anyone know her parents names? Dot?

It's Pippin, not Pippa! And the programme is Come Outside. My 2 year old loves it, and I love Linda! Is it true she lives in Urmston now????

Lynda is reputed to be a cousin of my father Alfred Cook, (deceased) who was raised in West Gorton, she was Lillian Ridgeway and used to live in Prestcott St West Gorton, I understand her mother was also called Lillian. I have never had any contact with her but would be interested in contacting her if I knew where to write to. Joyce
